The International Guidelines for Offshore Marine Operations (GOMO) document was officially launched in the UK on the 11th November 2013 and in Norway on 1st June 2014 and was the product of the GOMO work group – details of which are contained within the document. If you have any comments or suggestions for improvement, please click on the feedback link from the menu and fill in the form. GOMO supersedes and replaces the publication “Guidelines for the Safe Management of Offshore Supply and Rig Move Operations (NW European Area)”, June 2009 Update often referred to as the ‘NWEA Guidelines’. GOMO is designed to offer a standard global approach to, and encourage good practice in, safe vessel operations for the offshore oil and gas industry.
